Who We Are
Reliable Partner. Lasting Impact.
Wood Companion is a furniture trading and export company, founded on February 25, 2009 and rooted in Cepu, Blora — serving international markets and domestic mass-market retailers as the reliable link between raw material and finished retail shelf.

Why "Companion"
"Companion" signals partnership, reliability, and warmth — a supplier who stands beside buyers and retailers as a steady ally, not just a transaction. "Wood" grounds the brand in material, craft, and origin.
We exist to be a dependable, long-term trade partner to both export buyers and domestic retailers — representing Indonesian furniture craft with credibility on the international stage, and growing our reach year over year the way a tree adds a ring every year: steady, compounding, built to last.
We bring warmth and elegance to a category — furniture trading and logistics — that is usually treated as purely transactional. Every shipment carries a relationship, not just a product.
Our Aim
A Dependable Trade Partner
Be a long-term partner rather than a one-off vendor, for both export buyers and domestic retailers.
Credibility on the World Stage
Represent Indonesian furniture craftsmanship with credibility on the international stage.
Steady, Compounding Growth
Grow year over year like the rings of a tree — gradual, compounding, and built to last.
Warmth in a Transactional Category
Bring warmth and elegance to a furniture category that can otherwise feel purely transactional.

Five Rings, Five Continents
Our mark is built from growth rings — the concentric lines visible on a cross-cut log, each one marking a year of growth. We chose this motif because it captures exactly what Wood Companion does: grow steadily, outward, year after year, while staying rooted in real material and real craft.
The mark carries five concentric elements — four rings plus the center point. We read this as five continents reached through Wood Companion's export network, radiating outward from a single point of origin: Indonesia, where the wood is grown, crafted, and shipped from. The center point is home; each ring outward is another market reached, another partnership built.
A real tree round is never perfectly symmetrical — rings bulge and narrow with each year's rain, sun, and soil. We draw our mark this way on purpose, rather than as a geometric target: it signals that Wood Companion trades in something genuine and grown, not mass-produced or synthetic.
Rooted in Cepu, Blora
Cepu, in Blora, Central Java, sits in one of Indonesia's most respected teak-growing regions. The climate, soil, and generations of managed forestry here produce timber known for its density, natural oil content, and resistance to warping, insects, and decay — the reasons teak has been the standard for serious furniture and shipbuilding for centuries. Beyond teak, we also source and work with mahogany, mango wood, and other quality Indonesian hardwoods to match each client's specification.
Our roots are in hands-on furniture making — working by hand, with care, and with respect for the wood. That heritage is exactly what we represent on the international stage: real material and real craftsmanship behind every container we ship, not a factory floor assembled overnight to chase demand.
